KARACHI, Aug 16: A group of some 75 boy scouts visited the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, to pay him tributes under week-long Independence Day celebrations.

The celebrations started at all headquarters of Pakistan Boys Scouts (PSC) under PIA Boy Scouts Association .

According to a statement here on Tuesday, they laid floral wreath on the Mazar and offered ‘Fateha”.

It further said that International Commissioner of Pakistan Boys Scouts (PBS), Ghazanfar Mashkoor was chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of Independence Day celebrations at provincial headquarter of PBS, while Provincial Commissioner PSC Agha Shahi hoisted the national flag at a ceremony held at Karachi Boys Scouts (KBO), district headquarters.—APP
