KHUZDAR: Personnel of the Pakistan Coast Guards on Thursday seized a huge quantity of drug and smuggled oil and arrested four people in two separate raids near Windar area.

According to a spokesperson of the Pakistan Coast Guards, acting on a tip-off the personnel intercepted a coach going from Karachi to Khari check-post.

“During search of the vehicle a huge quantity of drug was found,” he said, adding that the drug was hidden inside the coach.

As many as 154kg of high-quality marijuana and smuggled goods were seized.

Meanwhile, in a separate action, the force seized 704 bottles of imported wine and 2,200 litres of smuggled oil. Vehicles carrying the smuggled oil were intercepted near Ormara.

Four people were arrested in the two actions and they were being interrogated.
