LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has published initial electoral lists and displayed these at various centres.

A spokesperson for the ECP says that at least 2,400 display centres have been set up at public places across the country so that voters may check their particulars and ensure that their votes have been registered against their permanent or current addresses as mentioned at their computerised national identity cards (CNICs).

To know one’s vote and display centre, one may send one’s CNIC number through SMS on toll free line 8300.

For registration of a vote or transferring an already registered one to other area, says the spokesperson, the voter concerned may fill up Form-15 and submit it at the display centres for the purpose.

For getting cancelled or filing objection to a vote, the person may submit the same by filling up and submitting Form-16 at the centre.

For corrections in particular, the voter concerned has to submit Form-17 at the centre.
