KARACHI: Top seed Tayyab Aslam and qualifier Faiza Zafar annexed men’s and women’s titles respectively in the 13th DG Rangers Sindh Squash Championship at Rangers Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Tuesday.

Tayyab carved out 5-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-7 victory over seventh seed Danish Atlas Khan in fiercely fought encounter that lasted 50-minutes.. He earned a purse of $ 1,805 while losing finalist received $ 1,140.

Faiza, meanwhile, chalked up straight 11-9, 11-5, 11-5 victory over third seed Amna Fayyaz in 26-minutes.

The winner took home Rs38,000 while the runner-up picked up Rs26,000 at the presentation that followed the two finals.
