MANSEHRA: A man shot dead three persons, including his nephew and two neighbours, and injured his two wives in Mareen village of Kolai-Palas, Kohistan, on Saturday.
“We have reached at the crime scene where a man killed his nephew, two neighbours and injured his two wives and managed to flee,” Habibur Rehman Tanoli, DSP Kolai-Palas, told reporters.
According to the police, the accused opened fire at his nephew after seeing him at his home, leaving him dead on the spot.
Two neighbours rushed to the spot after hearing the gunshots, but the accused also shot them dead, and injured his two wives.
“We have yet to confirm what caused the man to commit the triple murder,” said Mr Tanoli, adding the accused would soon be arrested.
He said FIR of the incident had been registered and the pistol used in the killing seized.
