KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunication Comp­any Limited (PTCL) has initiated a comprehensive project to install solar power systems at its headquarters, regional offices and excha­nges across the country with a view to conserve energy and support the environment, according to a statement received here on Thursday.

It said that energy source at more than 700 PTCL facilities had already been converted to solar power system and as part of covering big installations under the initiative, a 180kW solar power system had been installed at the company’s headquarters.
