KOHAT: The model courts have decided over 530 cases in record time of five months which would have normally taken years to be decided in common courts.

This was stated by district and sessions judge Mohammad Shoaib while addressing a function to award commendation certificates to the judges of the model courts, police personnel, prosecution and the health staffers.

He said with the introduction of the model courts people were getting early and cheap justice. He praised the judges of the model courts for dispensation of early justice to people.

Judge Shoaib said the criminal model court, civil model court, and the magistrate model court solved hundreds of cases in record time. He said the Chief Justice of Pakistan had introduced the model courts with a vision to save the time of the litigants.
