LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fixed Rs50 as price of the tickets for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka.

The series is part of the ICC World Test Championship with the first Test starting in Rawalpindi from December 11 and the second in Karachi from December 19.

Announcing the details about the tickets, the PCB says the tickets for both the Tests will be available online through website www.yayvo.com from Saturday.

For the Rawalpindi Test, the fans can buy tickets from the TCS sale centres from Saturday. In Karachi, sale of tickets from the TCS sale centres will commence from Monday.

“The PCB, in an effort to encourage the fans to be part of return of Test cricket in Pakistan, have fixed price of Shoaib Akhtar Enclosure at the Pindi Cricket Stadium at Rs50,” said a PCB news release.

“At the National Stadium, tickets for Javed Miandad, Fazal Mahmood, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Iqbal Qasim and Nasim-ul-Ghani enclosures will be available and have also been fixed at Rs50.”

Furthermore, the PCB has decided to handout a large number of tickets per day at both the centres to schools and colleges.

The spectators are advised to carry their CNIC cards when visiting the TCS sale centres, while a maximum of 10 tickets can be purchased on one CNIC card.

When purchasing online, fans will collect tickets directly from the TCS sale centres, the PCB further announced.
