Making us proud

Published December 3, 2019

MAJOR Samia Rehman has been selected for the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) certificate of the year 2019. The certificate was awarded to Maj Samia for her extraordinary performance in mission level studies, analysis and other valuable contributions.

Maj Samia is among many Pakistani female peacekeepers contributing to the United Nations’ Peacekeeping Missions across the world.

Despite social barriers, Pakistani women have been breaking stereotypes and making their mark and we are proud of it.
