Fazl to address public meeting tomorrow

QUETTA: Emir of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman will attend the 46th death anniversary of Pashtun nationalist leader Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai in Quetta on Monday.

Chief of the Balochistan chapter of the JUI-F Maulana Abdul Wasey made the announcement while presiding over a meeting of the party on Saturday. He said the JUI-F chief would address a public meeting in Quetta to be held to mark the Pashtun leader’s death anniversary.

Maulana Fazl will be visiting Quetta on the invitation of Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai’s son and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai.

According to Maulana Wasey, the JUI-F chief will speak on important national issues at the public meeting.

Maulana Abdul Khaliq Marri, Maulana Khursheed Ahmed, Syed Abdul Wahid Agha, Dilawar Khan Kakar and Haji Rehmatullah were among the leaders who attended the JUI-F meeting on Saturday.
