KARACHI: Bahria College easily overcame Beaconhouse Jauhar campus 35-26 while City School PAF chapter beat Beaconhouse 26-24 in the semifinals to set up the final of the Commissioner Karachi SSB Cup Girls Basketball tournament here at Karachi Gymkhana on Saturday evening.

The final will be played on Sunday.

Earlier players of both the teams were introduced to KBBA Chairman Ghulam Muhammad who was the chief guest on the occasion.

In the first semifinal, leading scorers for the winners were Anosha (17 points) and Aimen Shahid (13 points).

In the second semifinal, the main scorers for the winners were Laiba Tibraiz (10 points) and Ayesha (8 points).

The event is being organised by Firdaus Ittehad in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association and supported by SSB.

Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalwani will be the chief guest the grand finale.
