SUKKUR: Nawaz Sharif should get medical treatment from the doctors of his choice as should Asif Zardari, who is only a suspect, said senior PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira.

Talking to reporters the other day after attending a hearing of Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court, Mr Kaira said Nawaz should be allowed to get medical treatment in view of his critical condition, from doctors of his choice abroad since it was a matter of his life and death.

Mr Kaira said Asif Zardari, whose health was deteriorating day by day and who was only a suspect, should also be treated fairly.

About Khursheed Shah, he said a judicial remand was awarded because NAB failed to prove the allegations levelled against him.
