QUETTA: Balochistan Agriculture Minister Zamarak Khan Piralizai has said that the provincial government is paying attention to the promotion of farm, livestock and fisheries sectors.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said the national economy would get strengthened and the life standard in the province would improve by developing and promoting these sectors

The minister regretted that in the past the farm, livestock and fisheries and other important sectors were not given much attention. He said farm, livestock and fisheries sectors used to contribute billions of rupees to the provincial kitty, but these sectors reached the verge of closure as the previous governments neglected them.

Zamarak Khan, however, said that the present government had taken concrete steps for the revival of these sectors.
