LAHORE: Pakistan Services Volleyball team reached the semifinals of World Military Games( CISM) in Wuhan, China, according to information released by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation on Thursday.

These games are a huge assembly of world athletes participating in number of Sports. More than 100 countries are participating in these games. Volleyball was one of the sports in which Pakistan Services Team participated and reached the last four grades where it will face Brazil.

A total of 10 countries entered their teams in the volleyball event. On its way to pre-finals, Pakistan won its pool matches against Netherlands 3-0, Canada 3-0, Iran 3-1, and lost to South Korea 3-2 to get second place in the group.

In this competition Pakistan Services team captain Mubashar Raza from Navy and also plays for Pakistan team, has performed extremely well. He has been ably supported by Aafaq, from Air Force, Abu Zar and Usman again from Navy, Hamid, Anwar Khan, Yaseen and Farooq Haider from Army.

The semifinal will be played on Friday.
