Fix our ATMs

Published October 22, 2019

I DON’T know why we have automated teller machines (ATMs) in my town when they don’t work. Every time I go to withdraw funds the machine is out of service.

What is one supposed to do on a Sunday or bank holidays? Should we revert to the barter system? In Kashmore and Jacobabad the banks are open for a short period and most ATMs are not operational.

I request the State Bank of Pakistan to look into the matter urgently as it is causing us a lot of distress.
