ORANGI Town with a population of approximately 2.5 million has only one government hospital to cater to such a large population. As a result doctors are unable to give proper attention to patients.
The patients also have to wait for in queue for long hours before they can be attended to. On many occasions the hospital runs out of medicines and patients are asked to purchase drugs from the market.
The city and Sindh governments should build at least two more hospitals in this town.
