Shaheed-i-Millat

Published October 20, 2019

OCT 16 was the 68th martyrdom anniversary of the first prime minister of Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan. We must not forget our leaders who contributed to the betterment of Pakistan.

They must be honoured in a prominent way. It is a pity that the media gave so little coverage to Shaheed-i-Millat’s martyrdom anniversary. Nations which forget their leaders do not progress. It is also the responsibly of the current government to ensure such days are observed with due solemnity.

Our youth must be educated on how our great leaders sacrificed for creating Pakistan. One must hope that in future such days are observed with dignity and honour both in print and electronic media.
