KARACHI: The Sindh High Court’s Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M. Shaikh has sought reports from district judge and a deputy inspector general of police concerned and summoned senior superintendent of police over kidnapping of a teenage girl in Tharparkar.

The chief justice took notice of media reports about the kidnapping of the 15-year-old girl as bargaining tool to settle a dispute over debt in Kaloi town near Diplo in Tharparkar district.

He sought reports from the district and sessions judges of Tharparkar and Mithi and DIG of Mirpurkhas and summoned the SSP of Tharparkar to appear in the court along with the report on Oct 21.
