MARDAN: Three persons suffered multiple wounds in rain-related incidents here on Thursday.

According to Recue-1122 officials, two children were injured when roof of their room collapsed in Defence Colony located at Shahbaz Gari area.

The injured, identified as Hamad (5) and Shaista (12), were taken to the DHQ hospital.

In another incident, a rickshaw driver, named Sajjad, was injured when a tree fell on his vehicle on Mardan-Nowshera road. He was also taken to the hospital by Rescue-1122 officials.

Meanwhile, the anti-terrorism court, Mardan, on Thursday rejected bail applications of four accused who were charged in the triple murder case that took place in Charsadda a few months ago.

Officials said that the accused, who were charged in the murder case of three brothers belonging to Umarzai area of Charsadda, had submitted application for their bail.

Judge Asim Imam rejected regular bail of three accused, identified as Nasir Jamal, Pir Mohammad and Rubab Naseem, while plea for bail before arrest of the fourth accused named Amir in the said case was turned down.

The police arrested the three accused while arrest order was issued by the court for Amir who was not present on the occasion.

The main accused in the case, identified as Nadar Khan, had not submitted application for his bail.
