Bulle Ji Baloch FC win Shoaib Hingora football event

KARACHI: Captain of Bulle Ji Baloch FC receives the trophy from Chairman DMC South Malik Fayyaz for winning the All-Karachi Shoaib Hingora football event on Friday.

KARACHI: Meher Ali Baloch’s second-half goal saw Bulle Ji Baloch Football Club record a 1-0 victory against Shafi Mohammadan Football Club to win the All Karachi Shaheed Shoaib Hingora Memorial Football Tournament here at Kalri Football Ground in Lyari.

Young Hingora Football Club organised the tournament in collaboration with DMC South.

During the closing ceremony, DMC South Chairman Malik Mohammad Fayyaz Awan distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up team. The winning side cashed Rs30,000 while the runners-up pocketed Rs20,000. The scorer of the final, Meher, received Rs3,000.

Moreover, track suits, kits and other prizes were also distributed among the players.

Addressing the participants during the ceremony, Fayyaz praised the people of Lyari for being sports- and peace-loving.

“If better infrastructure and resources are made available for these players better results could be expected from them,” he said.
