ISLAMABAD: A suspect in the judge’s video scandal case has been missing along with four members of his family for the last one week, Dawn has learnt. Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of a relative.

The police said the matter had been reported by the suspect’s brother-in-law, Rashid Mehmood, who informed them that the suspect along with his wife and three children had been missing for the last one week.

The family was residing in Bahria Town, the police stated.

According to the FIR, the suspect is husband of Mr Mehmood’s sister and the couple has three daughters.

Mr Mehmood said he had been visiting his sister’s house for a week, but found its gate locked. He said he had also made efforts to approach his sister’s family on cell phones but they were switched off.

Mr Mehmood said in the FIR that his brother-in-law was very disturbed since he was booked in the case.

The suspect had been in contact with the owner of a construction company in connection with the case, the FIR stated. Mr Mehmood said he believed the owner of the construction company was behind the disappearance of the family.

This correspondent tired to contact Mr Mehmood for comments, but he was not available.
