KARACHI: Two more matches were played during the ongoing Defence Day SSB Cup basketball tournament being organized by Pakistan Sports Welfare Association in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association at Abdul Nasir Basketball Courts in Arambagh on Friday night.

In the first match, Maj Tufail Shaheed IX easily beat Pilot Officer Maryam Mukhtar 1X 75-50 in a high scoring contest. Scorers for the winners were Zainul Abedeen 27 points, Raj Kumar 25 points while Abdullah Imam scored 16 points. For the losing side, Rafay Salahuddin scored 28 while Haris Shahid and Hasasn scored 10 and 8 points respectively.

In the second match of the day, Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed IX beat Lance Naik Saif Ali Janjua IX 42-46. Main scorers for the winners were Umar Shabber 15, Anza Umar 13 and Awais Khan 12 points.
