KARACHI: The winners of sub-juniors category, City School PAF Chapter team is seen with chief guest president PTF Faiza Amir, secretary general PTF Maqbool Arain and others at the closing ceremony on Saturday.

KARACHI: The City School PAF Chapter outplayed Aga Khan School 2-0 to clinch the sub-juniors title while DA Phase 4 beat Habib Girls School 2-0 to win the Juniors title, O Level & Matric title was won by The City School DK Campus who beat City school PAF chapter 2-0 while Cedar College bagged the A-level title by overcoming City School DK campus 2-0 while Greenwich Falcon University beat Cedar College 2-0 to clinch the University level category title in the 10th Culligan Girls Throwball tournament here on Saturday.

A record 106 teams in five different categories participated in the tournament. President of Pakistan Women Throwball Federation Faiza Amir was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed the prizes of Rs 20,000 among the winners of each category as well as other prizes, trohpies and medal and certificates to runner-up and third position teams.

On this occasion Maqbool Arain General Secretary World & Pakistan Throwball Federation, Mohammed Riaz Sports Coordinator of The City School PAF Chapter, Adnan Vohra Vice President Pakistan Throwball Federation, and others were also present.

In the sub Junior category, third position went to Daps Sea View who beat Fatimiyha School, 2-1 In the Juniors category, third position went to Shahwalayat School who beat Karachi Grammar School 2-1. In the O Level & Matric category third position went to Wajha Husain School while in the A-level category, third positon went to Aga Khan HS School. Habib University bagged third position in the University level category.
