KARACHI: Karachi Basketball Club beat Falcon Club 43-38 in the first semi-final of the Inverex Trophy Invitational Basketball Tournament being organised by Nasir Academy in collaboration with PSWA at the courts at Arambagh court on Thursday.

Raj Kumar (13 points), Jazeb Abbasi (12 points) and Wajih Abbasi (12 points) were the main scorers for the winners.

Earlier, players of both the teams were introduced to captain of Pakistan women basketball team Rija Safdar who was the chief guest on the occasion.

KBBA president Ghulam Muhammad Khan, International Abdul Nasir and Muhammad Yaqoob were also present.

The final of the tournament will be played on Friday at Abdul Nasir Basketball court at Arambagh. Chairman DMC South Malik Fayyaz Awan will be the chief guest.
