KARACHI, July 31: A young man was shot dead in Keamari on Sunday morning. Police said that two men came to the house of Muhammad Ibrahim, 35, near Babri Masjid in the limits of Docks police station.

They called Ibrahim and took him to the nearby Madina Chowk. Ibrahim was accompanied by one of his friends Fareed, who had come to visit him at his house.

Police said that the suspects pumped two bullets into Ibrahim and also shot at Fareed, who fled. Instead, a bullet hit a passer-by Faizullah.

The body was later shifted to the Civil Hospital for postmortem examination.

Police said that Muhammad Ibrahim was one of the suspects believed to have been involved in killing of two women in Muhammadi Colony a few days back.
