CHARSADDA: Two people were killed and three others injured when some gunmen attacked a moving car in Khanmai police station limits over an old enmity here on Saturday.

Sources said the dead and the injured were wanted to the police in murder, attempt to murder, drug selling and other criminal cases.

After the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the dead and the injured to hospital. The police also recovered four Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and pistols from the car. The injured men were arrested.

The police registered separate cases against the unidentified attackers and the injured men.

Also, a man and his son were killed and another was injured over a dispute over the ownership of shops in Harichand area on Saturday.

The police registered the case on the complaint of the injured, Wahid against two accused, Ikram and his brother, Hayat. Meanwhile, a man was killed over a petty issue in Shabqadar area on Saturday.

Sources said the victim, Khiali Gul was shot dead by three accused after exchange of harsh words. The police registered the case on the complaint of Janat Gul, the victim’s brother.
