KARACHI: Kashmir Solidarity Basketball matches to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren being organized by KBBA in collaboration with PSWA will be played today at Abdul Nasir Basketball courts at Arambagh today at 7 p.m.

According to KBBA president Ghulam Muhammad Khan, the one-day event includes boys and girls festival matches.

Girls match will be played between Benazir Bhutto Shaheed IX and Pilot Officer Maryam Mukhtar Shaheed IX while boys match will be played between Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto IX and Malik Shahid Hamid IX.

Ayesha Zaheer is the captain of BB Shaheed IX while her deputy is Sania Hussain. Pilot Officer Maryam Mukhtar Shaheed IX is led by Pulwashay while Laiba Tibraiz is her deputy.

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto IX is led by Zainul Abdeen while Turner is the vice-captain. Raheel Khan is the captain of Malik Shahid Hamid IX while Haris Khan is his deputy.

DC South Syed Salahuddin Ahmed will be the chief guest at the concluding ceremony and give away trophies and other awards on the occasion.
