FAISALABAD: The Anti-Corruption Establishment arrested a sub-inspector for receiving Rs30,000 bribe on Wednesday.

Umer Daraz, of Chak 224-RB, alerted the ACE that sub-inspector Muhammad Kashif of Batala Colony police station was demanding Rs30,000 bribe for the registration of a case.

ACE Assistant Director Anwarul Hassan Sherazi and judicial magistrate Zeeshan Labah raided the Batala Colony police station and caught Kashif red-handed while taking the bribe.
