SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has urged the world to use its influence to stop Indian state terrorism in India-held Kashmir besides ensuring a peaceful solution to the burning dispute.

She was talking to newsmen at the Sucheetgarh Zero Point along the Working Boundary here on Tuesday where she hoisted national flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir after leading a rally from Sialkot city to show solidarity with the people of held Kashmir.

Ms Awan said Pakistan had announced complete moral, diplomatic and political support to the oppressed people. She said unilateral Indian effort to change Kashmir’s status was a great threat to regional peace.

AZADI RALLY: The special assistant to PM is scheduled to lead an ‘Azadi Rally’ of local exporters to be taken out under the auspices of the SCCI on the Kashmir Solidarity Day on Wednesday (today).

It will begin from the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) building and end at Allama Iqbal Chowk.
