KARACHI, July 28: Deputy Convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s coordination committee Dr Farooq Sattar has assured the minority community of his party’s continued support, and said it was serving people irrespective of their belief and struggling for eliminating the exploitative system of feudalism.

He was addressing a corner meeting of the representatives of minority community at Lal Qila in Azizabad on Thursday.

Dr Sattar said that the public meeting of minority communities convened by the MQM on Friday would be another milestone and turning point in the party’s struggle for the rights and welfare of non-Muslims.

He said that being Pakistani, every minority citizen deserved all rights enjoyed by any other Pakistani as provided under the constitution. He said the MQM would ensure the same fair treatment with the minorities.
