KARACHI: Karachiites continued to brave a windy and dusty day on Monday but the Met office did not foresee any signs of monsoon rain in the metropolis this month except for a few spells of drizzle and occasional shower.
The Met office forecast partly cloudy weather in the metropolis over the next 24 hours with maximum temperature expected to remain within the range of 34 to 36 degrees Celsius with humidity — the amount of moisture in the atmosphere — touching the 70 per cent mark in the afternoon.
“Heat lows in Balochistan are an important reason behind blowing of such strong winds in the city,” said Sardar Sarfaraz at Karachi’s Met office.
