KARACHI: Two more matches were decided in the ongoing SSB Shohada-e-Pakistan basketball tournament being organized by Pakistan Sports Welfare Association in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Asso­c­iation at the Inter­national Abdul Nasir Aram­bagh court on Wednesday night.

In the first match of the day, Karachi Colts outclassed their strong opponents Lecole Ballers 52-42 to register the biggest upset of the event and qualified for the senior event.

Scorers for the winners in this closely fought encounter were Safeer 25 points, Zain Mehdi 12 and Asif Hussain points. For the losers, Khizer Muneer 20 and Umar Pasha scored 14 points each while Athar Ameen scored 10 points each.

In the second match, Bahria Club beat Arambagh Basketball Club beat 40-36.

Taimur 16 point and Hamad Waseem 12 points each were the main scorers for the winners while Muham­mad Akram scored 9 points. For the losers, Ashraf Yahya scored 20 points and Saad and Hasan scored 8 and 7 points respectively.
