Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi demanded that Prime Minister Imran Khan offer an explanation for the slowing down of the economy and rising unemployment and how his government planned to deal with the challenges.
"You couldn't collect Rs4,000 billion and you plan to collect Rs5,500bn this year? How will you collect [the money? By imposing more taxes on the people of Pakistan?" he said in a press talk outside the National Assembly.
