KHUZDAR: Vice Chancellor Dr Ehsanullah Khan Kakar has said that the Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) has become one of major engineering institutes in the province which has been producing engineers of good quality.

Presiding over the 25th academic council meeting of the BUET here on Sunday, he said that the university was known for its culture of respect for merit. “Many of our students are working in different parts of the world and lighting up the name of Pakistan,” he noted with pride.

Dr Kakar said that students from all over the province took admission to the BUET because it was known for imparting quality education.

Secretary of the Academic Council Liaquat Ali Lehri briefed the meeting on the performance of the university.

“The BUET has been playing a vital role in the technology sector as dozens of our graduates are contribution their expertise for development of Balochistan,” the VC said.
