LAHORE: Thousands of workers employed at hydel power stations, dams and water development projects all over the country will get one-month pay as bonus on Eidul Fitr.

According to a press release, the decision was taken at a meeting of representatives of the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union with Wapda Chairman Lt-Gen Muzzamil Hussain.

At a meeting held on Friday, the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union thanked the Wapda authority for accepting this just demand of the workers.

The meeting was addressed, among others, by General Secretary Khurshid Ahmed, Haji Humayun (Tarbela), Mushtaq Ahmad (Ghazi Brotha), Said Sharaf (Warsak), Nosher Khan, Ayub Khokhar, Rana Akram and Osama Tariq.
