KARACHI: An undefeated half-century by Fazal-ur-Rehman guided Heroes CC to a seven-wicket triumph against Rangoonwala CC in the their fixture of the 34th Karachi Gymkhana Omar Associates Ramazan Cricket Festival here on Wednesday.

After opting to bat first at the Karachi Gymkhana Ground, Rangoonwala CC mustered 133-7 in the stipulated 20 overs with Hafiz Asad top-scoring with 45 off 43 deliveries that included three fours and one six.

Bismillah Khan struck three boundaries and a six in scoring 22 off 14 balls, while his opening partner Imran Ali also made 22 with his 20-ball effort including one six and a four.

Off-spinner Sajid Khan and Wasim Qureshi both claimed two wickets.

Heroes CC, in reply, wrapped up the match in 16.3 overs with man-of-the-match Fazal makng 55 from 47 balls with the aid of four fours and three sixes and Usman Maya contributing a feisty 23-ball 41 with four fours and two sixes. The two added 59 for the third wicket.
