KARACHI: Manzoor Hussain Jr XI carved out 4-2 victory over Sindh Police in the opening match of the President KHA Ramazan Hockey League which commenced the other day at Olympian Hanif Khan-Dr Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Stadium.

Anas scored a brace in ninth and 18th minutes while Ali Hasan and Taha Raza netted once for the winners.

Hammad Ahmed and Shakeel Burney scored one goal apiece for the policemen. Four teams are competing in the event which concludes on May 28.

Earlier, member National Assembly Standing Committee for Sports Iqbal Mohammad Ali inaugurated the event.
