I AM an 80-plus pensioner of Pak Swiss Training Centre (PCSIR) Karachi and have not yet received my pension which is due on the first of each month. The centre which falls under the science and technology ministry was once a centre of excellence in the 1960s and the 1970s.

This is the first time that the retired employees of the PSTC have not received their pension. One can well imagine the miseries faced by retired employees whose sole source of income is their pension.

I earnestly appeal to the science and technology minister to order the Pak Swiss Training Centre authorities to ensure early disbursal of pension.
