QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani condemned on Saturday the terrorist attack on a five-star hotel in Gwadar and said that such attacks could not force the government and the people to bow down to terrorists.

In a media statement, he said that timely action by the security forces had foiled designs of the perpetrators of the attack.

He said that security personnel safely evacuated the people present in the hotel soon after the attack was launched.

The chief minister said the government and the security forces would ensure the safety of the people and would not leave them at the mercy of such elements.

He directed the authorities concerned to take strict action against the terrorists.
