HARIPUR, July 16: Minister of State for Information, Aneesa Zeb Tahirkhaili, has said that the government is committed to eradicate poverty, unemployment and illiteracy from the country and it is utilizing all resources to achieve this goal. She was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Rs20 million sewerage line and street pavement project at Ghazi area here on Friday evening.

Ms Tahirkhaili said that unlike previous administrations the PML government was paying attention to infrastructural and human resource development.

She said that unless women played their due role in the development of the country the goal of a prosperous Pakistan would remain unachieved.
