DADU: Two children drowned to death in the Indus River near Umer Shaikh village on Wednesday when they slipped into deep waters while taking bath in the river near the embankment.

The body of 12-year-old Liaquat Shaikh was taken out by villagers but that of Mujeeb Shaikh, 10, could not be found. Search for the body was going on.

Boy drowns in pond

MIRPURKHAS: An eight-year-old boy drowned in a water pond in Khudadad union council on Wednesday.

Raheel, son of Sarwar Kumhar, was playing on the pond’s bank in front of his house when he fell into it and drowned.
