PHF names 25 players

LAHORE, July 15: Twenty-five players will report at the second phase of the national hockey training camp scheduled to start at Naseer Bunda Stadium, Islamabad from July 20.

The camp is being set up for the next month’s Hamburg Masters in Germany and Rabo Trophy in Holland. The first phase was held in Rawalpindi.

Fourteen players are those who have been retained from the first phase while 11 are the members of the junior team.

Players: PIA: Nasir Ahmed, Imran Khan Yousafzai. (NBP): Zeeshan Ashraf, Adnan Maqsood, Imran Warsi, Tariq Aziz, Adnan Zakir, Akhtar Ali. (Army): Dilawar Hussain, Muhammad Imran. (HBL): Kashif Jawad, Khalid Mahmood. (PTCL): Salman Akbar, Ghazanfar Ali, Saleem Khalid, Sajjad Anwar, Shakeel Abbasi. (PAF): Kashif Yaqoob. (Wapda): Rehan Butt, Mudassar Ali Khan, Waqas Sharif, Muhammad Shabbir. (ABL): Muhammad Saqlain. (Customs): Ihsan Ullah and Imran Shah.
