QUETTA: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government (PTI) has failed to deliver and that powers should be transferred to the lowest level to resolve issues of the common people.

He was addressing a news press conference at the Quetta press club on Saturday with PSP president Anees Qaimkhani, Ashfaq Mangi and other leaders.

The PSP chairman said that they were not against the 18th amendment.

“The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has failed to save their 11 seats and in protecting local body rights,” he said. The PTI government, he added, had made one million people jobless within a year and 400 industries were going to be closed in the near future. “The situation in each and every part of the country has become worse, the investors are avoiding to invest in Pakistan,” said Mr Kamal.

He said that the missing persons issue was very serious and the state should reunite them with their families.

“We don’t have a good relationship with neighbouring countries. The border situation with Iran, Afghanistan and India is tense,” he said, adding that India was investing money for the stability of its economy while Pakistan was facing unemployment, poverty, hunger and financial crises. Transferring powers to the lowest level was the only solution to all problems, he said.
