KARACHI: As many as four teams for basketball event of the upcoming Karachi Games were named by Karachi Basketball Association on Saturday.

Karachi Central will be led by Hassan Iqbal while other players include Humayun Aslam, Hamza Parwani, Haris Khan, Shariq Suleiman, Faizan Yousuf, hamza Khawaja, Muhammad Daniyal Khan Marwat and Yash Kumar.

District west team will be led by Richard while others players are Lari Fernandez, Elvis Fernandez, Daryl De’souza, Jonathan De’Souza, Stephen Daslu, John Raggers and Michael Turner.

District Malir team will be led by Raheel Mubin while other members of the squad are Asad Hafeez, Ubaid Hafeez, Bilal Ahmed, Ashraf Yahya, Saad Salahuddin, Hasan Ali and Ahmed Ali.

Umair Khan will lead the Karachi East team which will comprise of Mohsin Gujar, Munib Ahmed, Bilal Ahmed Khan , Taimur Shaid, Awais Khan, Sajad Khan and Nazakat Khan.

The basketball event will take place at Arambagh Basketball courts on April 30 and May 1. Players have been advised to report at Arambagh court on April 29 at 8 p.m.
