KARACHI: Half-a-dozen horses looks set to appear in The Hyderabad Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The Hyderabad Cup, which is the third race in day’s programme, is classified under combined scale order Vi and VII and will be run over four furlongs.

Similar number of six horses will face the starter in the next race which is day’s feature event, scale order III to be contested over four furlongs.

Eight horses including debutant unknon pedigree horse Big Star are in line in the first race under lowest classification of scale order VIII while five horses will vie for honours in the second race. Both these races will also go through four furlongs.

Altogether, 25 horses have entered the four-race card and will vie for honours barring last-minute withdrawal (s). The first race starts at 4pm.

Big Star 9-0, Mehak 8-11, Aas Pass 8-9, Winx 8-7, Red Star 8-7, Saudagar 8-6, Sassy Gold 8-5, Killing Eyes 7-10.

Win: Aas Pass.

Place: Red Star and Sassy Gold.

THE HYDERABAD PLATE SCALE ORDER IV AND V 4 F:

Big Foot 9-0, Lovely Baby 8-10, Queen’s Best 8-6, Black Smoke 8-2, Dran Duran 7-13.

Win:Bbig Foot.

Place: Black Smoke.

THE HYDERABAD CUP SCALE ORDER VI AND VII 4 F:

Justify 9-0,. Dazzling Diva 8-10, Cracks Man 8-9, Sonia Again 8-7, Hi Honey 8-6, Believe Me 8-0.

Win: Cracks Man.

Place: Dazzling Diva.

THE HYDERABAD PLATE SCALE ORDER III 4 F:

Romeo 9-0, Beat The Clock 8-13, Salam-e-Kaif 8-6, Dhannak 7-12, Meri Saba 7-10, Native Prince 7-10.
