TAXILA: Four people were killed and five others injured in a collision between a passenger coach and a car on Rawalpindi- Kohat road in Attock on Monday morning.

According to district emergency officer Dr Mian Mohammad Ashfaq, the accident occurred near Darsaki Morr on Khunda chowk.

He said the Rawalpindi-bound passenger van while negotiating a turncollided with a car coming from opposite direction.

The dead, Syed Nusrat Hussain, Syed Ibrahim Shah, Syed Ali Shah and an unknown person were travelling in the van.

Car inmates included Amir Ali, Ibrar Khan, Mohammad Nigah, Masood Ahmad and Mohammad Saqib received multiple injuries.

He said Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted the injured and dead to different hospitals of the area.

A week ago, a passenger van and pickup collided at the same place in which two people died and seven others were injured.
