ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik on Wednesday said educational institutions should not exploit students for roll number slips.

When his attention was drawn towards reports that some institutions were forcing students to deposit pending fees before getting their roll number slips, Dr Malik said students could download their roll number slips from the board’s website.

“If schools have any issue with students, they should resolve it through other means, but they can’t use FBISE issued roll number slips to exploit them,” he said.

The FBISE chairman said the board had been regularly uploading roll number slips on its website for all private students well on time.

“As far as regular students are concerned, we send their slips to their institutions. So, if some institutions are exploiting the students, they can download their roll number slips,” Dr Malik said.
