ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Sunday summoned the Indian deputy high commissioner and cautioned him against any misadventure that his country might be thinking of committing against Pakistan.
In a tweet, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said the Indian official was also given a demarche, in line with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s media briefing on the issue.
Earlier in the day, Mr Qureshi had told reporters in Multan his government had gathered from intelligence reports that New Delhi could resort to aggression against Pakistan between April 16 and 20. However, Islamabad was fully prepared to defend its sovereignty.
