KARACHI: Pakistan Veterans Yellows and Sherwani Motors scored contrasting victories in the last match of the Super League stage to set up a title clash in the Veterans Hockey League at Olympian Islahuddin-Dr M. A. Shah hockey academy on Saturday.

Pakistan Veterans Yellows carved out a 2-1 victory over Pakistan Veterans Reds. Zahid Ghaffar and former international Safdar Abbas scored once for the winners while Zulf­iqar Hussain reduced the deficit for the losers.

In the next fixture, Sherwani Motors outplayed Tiger Veterans by 7-0. Zafar hogged limelight with a hat-trick followed by Kamran Ather (2), Jan Mohammad and Ali Mehdi one each.

Hyderabad Veterans chalked up a 4-2 victory over Dolphin Veterans in the third match that was of academic interest. M. Asif, Tahir Habib, Subhan and Khaliq netted one goal apiece for the winners while Muzammil Hussain struck twice for the losers.

The final will be played on April 19.
