ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) has decided to hold agricultural expo in June this year.

Chairman PBIT Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan has started contacting embassies and diplomats to make the expo a success.

Mr Khan on Wednesday gave invitation to the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Barlbay Sadko to bring the delegation of businessmen in expo being held in Lahore, so that the business ties between the two countries could be strengthened.

He thanked the ambassador for taking interest in bringing investment to Pakistan and said that in order to strengthen the bilateral trade, a contact desk would be established by PBIT to promote trade between the businessmen’s and traders of the two countries.

Kazakhstan’s ambassador said that in order to increase the bilateral trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, both the countries should collaborate with China so that through Railway System, access could be made easier between the two countries.
